What is Cryo Therapy?
Also called cryoablation and cryosurgery, Cryotherapy is a procedure in which an
extremely cold liquid or an instrument called a cryoprobe is used. It freezes and destroys
abnormal tissue.
Substances like liquid nitrogen, liquid nitrous oxide, or compressed
argon gas are used to cool a Cryoprobe. Cryotherapy can be used to treat certain types of
cancer and some conditions that have a chance of becoming cancer.
