Disease We Treat
Pioneer Physiotherapy ensures precise diagnosis of abnormal physical function related to skeletal deformities and physical disorders. The treatment includes modern standard equipment(USFDA certified) and exquisite methods with medication, exercise, casting, and surgery.
Conditions We Treat
Sciatica
Sciatica is a nerve pain in the leg that is caused by irritation and/or compression of the sciatic nerve. Sciatica originates in the lower back, radiates deep into the buttock, and travels down the leg.
Wrist Fracture
A wrist fracture can mean that a person has broken one of the small bones in this joint or the distal radius, which is the larger of the two bones that make up the forearm. This bone most often breaks at the lower end, near where it connects to the bones of the hand and thumb.
Tennis Elbow
Tennis elbow is an inflammation of the tendons that join the muscles of the forearm to the outside of the elbow. It often occurs due to overusing the forearm muscles and tendons and those around the elbow joint.
Spondyloisthesis
Spondylolisthesis is a spinal condition that causes lower back pain. It occurs when one of the vertebrae, the bones of the spine, slips out of place onto the vertebra below it.
Knee Osteoarthritis
Arthritis is inflammation of one or more joints. Knee arthritis can make it hard to do many everyday activities, such as walking or climbing stairs. It is a major cause of lost work time and a serious disability for many people. It is also known as degenerative joint disease and is typically the result of wear and tear and progressive loss of articular cartilage.
Hip Fracture
A hip fracture is a break in the upper portion of the femur which is called the thigh bone. Most hip fractures occur in elderly patients whose bones have become weakened by osteoporosis. A hip fracture can occur in a younger patient because of a high-energy event, such as a falling or accident.
Hand Fracture
A hand fracture is a break in one of the bones in the hand. This includes the small bones of the fingers that are called phalanges and the long bones within the palm that are called metacarpals.
Cervical Pain
Cervical pain is neck pain that can arise from several disorders and diseases of any tissues in the neck. Common neck pain conditions are whiplash, a herniated disc, or a pinched nerve.
Frozen Shoulder
Frozen shoulders are also called adhesive capsulitis. It is a painful condition in which the movement of the shoulder becomes limited. A frozen shoulder occurs when the strong connective tissue surrounding the shoulder joint also called the shoulder joint capsule becomes thick, stiff, and inflamed.
Facial Palsy or Bell’s Palsy
Facial Palsy or Bell’s palsy is also known as acute peripheral facial palsy of unknown cause. The exact cause is unknown. It is caused by swelling and inflammation of the nerve that controls the muscles on one side of the face. It could be a reaction after a viral infection. Facial paralysis may cause one corner of your mouth to droop or make it difficult to close the eye on the affected side of the face.
Rheumatoid Arthritis
Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a disease that leads to inflammation of the joints and their surrounding tissues. It is one of the long-term diseases. It is an autoimmune disease.in Rheumatoid Arthritis the immune system of the body mistakenly attacks healthy tissue.
Paralysis
Paralysis is the loss of muscle function in the body. Paralysis can be temporary or sometimes permanent. Paralysis is not limited to any particular part of the body, but most cases of paralysis are observed in limbs. Partial and complete paralysis can occur at any point in life.
Shoulder & Arm Fractures
Shoulder Fractures can be caused by trauma. It results in a fracture of the humerus (ball) or the glenoid (socket) of the shoulder joint. If there is swelling, bruising, or tenderness around the injured area or there is restricting the movement of a broken bone, it can be an Arm fracture.
Forearm Fractures
The forearm consists of two bones, the radius, and the ulna, with the ulna located on the pinky side and the radius on your thumb side. Fractures of the forearm can occur at different levels: near the wrist at the farthest end of the bone, in the middle of the forearm, or near the elbow at the top end of the bone. They can occur through a direct blow to the arm or indirect injury.
Elbow Fractures
Elbow fractures may involve the upper arm bone (humerus) near the elbow—called lower (distal) humeral fractures—or one of the upper forearm bones (radius or ulna)—called radial head fractures of olecranon fractures.
Post Operative
Post Operative therapy helps regain strength, and speedy recovery after surgery and restores joint movement, strength, and flexibility. A physiotherapist knows how to foster focused healing in each area of the body
Pre & Post Surgery Rehabilitation
Pre-surgery rehabilitation allows patients to prepare for surgery safely under a physiotherapist’s supervision. Post-surgical rehabilitation is important to regain pain-free function and return to day-to-day work.
Symptoms We Treat
Back Pain
Back pain can range from a muscle aching to a shooting, burning, or stabbing sensation. The pain can radiate down a leg. Bending, twisting, lifting, standing, or walking would be difficult and make it worse. Most back pain gradually improves with treatment and self-care.
Knee Pain
Knee pain may be the result of injuries like a ruptured ligament or torn cartilage. Knee pain can also be caused by medical conditions including arthritis, gout, and infections.
Cervical Pain (Neck Pain)
Cervical pain is neck pain that can arise from some disorders and diseases of any tissues in the neck. Common neck pain conditions are whiplash, a herniated disc, or a pinched nerve
Joint Pain
Joints form the connections between bones. They provide support and help you move. Any damage to the joints from disease or injury can interfere with your movement and cause a lot of pain. Often, the pain can come with swelling and inflammation, stiffness, and loss of range of motion
Shoulder Pain
The tendons of the shoulder become inflamed or damaged which causes shoulder pain. The most common cause of shoulder pain is when rotator cuff tendons become trapped under the bony area in the shoulder
Headache
A headache is a pain in the head or face that’s often described as a pressure that’s throbbing, constant, sharp, or dull. Tension-Type Headaches (TTH), migraines, Medication overuse headaches (MOH), Cluster headaches, and Thunderclap headaches are different types of headaches. These are caused by problems involving the structure of the head and neck or are symptoms of an underlying medical condition.
Foot Pain
Foot pain refers to any pain or discomfort in one or more parts of the foot, such as toes, heels, arches, and soles. Causes include poorly fitting shoes, overuse such as long walks or running a marathon, sprains, and strains.
Numbness & Tingling
Numbness and tingling are unusual prickling sensations that happen in any part of the body. People generally notice these sensations in their hands, feet, arms, and legs.
Muscle Stiffness
Muscle stiffness occurs when your muscles feel tight and it is more difficult to move than usual, especially after rest. It also includes muscle aches, cramps, and discomfort.
